It all started with a passion of travel and some big dreams. Years later and we are now a premiere boutique agency specializing in individual and group travel. Our everpresent goal is to provide you with the best personalized service possible, before, during and after your trip.

Our B2B division focuses on tourism sales and marketing representation for global tourism products. Our longstanding relationships in the tourism industry drive us to promote every facet of travel whether it be a destination, airline, hotel or tourism attraction. About Us

Denise Arencibia

Founder

I am a Cuban-American Miami native who has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. I have had the honor to work with organizations such as the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and Visit Florida.

My passion for travel began when I was a child. In college, I studied in Italy which is where my love for the country and anything Italian comes from. I started in the travel industry as a travel agent and, although, I have spent most of my career on the sales and marketing side of travel, I feel most fulfilled planning it! Creating unique experiences and hosting passengers are at the top of my favorite things to do.

I have two teenagers, Lucas and Mia, who love to travel as much as I do. 

We are all part of a very special tribe of tourism  professionals and lovers of travel in general. Welcome to our travel family? I’m so very happy you’re here.

Fernando Harb

Co-Founder

I was destined to be a part of the Hospitality industry. My father, an industry veteran himself, moved us around the world, holding various positions in airlines, destinations and hotels. I grew up a hotel brat!

I guess it rubbed off on me as I went straight into the industry and have never looked back. As they say, “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life”.

Now over 30 years later, my career has transitioned between hotels, DMOs and travel industry trade show production.

I count my connections around the world, not as contacts, but as a wealth of friendships accumulated over the years. These relationships have allowed me to expand the awareness and success for our clients.

I am blessed with a son, Christian, an accomplished actor living in Hollywood, CA.

ALFREDO GONZALEZ

Before starting his own company,  Alfredo spent his career directing the international tourism departments for prominent DMOs such as Brand USA, Visit Florida and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.  He has also held leadership positions with Marriott Hotels, Palace Resorts, CFI Resorts/Westgate and Bancor Leaders in Travel in a career that has spanned over three decades.

Alfredo has a lovely wife, Tina, and  three beautiful daughters, Chelsea, Alexandra and Jessica. He enjoys discovering new adventures on his motorcycle and loves playing golf, although he is not very good at it.

We are fortunate to include Alfredo as part of the Spotlight team to collaborate on tourism projects and  benefit from his extensive aviation expertise. 

 

Marina Barros

Brazil In-Market Representative

Marina was born in the Macau-Special Region Administration of China. She is a Brazilian citizen and a U.S. green-card holder.

Marina’s experience spans over 50 years in the International Travel Industry and 27 years with International Trade and Investments, including Pan Ams for 23 years, American Express Travel, opening the first Amex Agency in Rio.

In 1994, Marina opened MB Doubleem d/b/a Destinations Network Viagens e Turismo Ltd. In the last 25 years, she has represented Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Toronto, Macau and Hong Kong tourism offices..

On the Trade side, she spent 27 years with Hong Kong Trade Development Council and 3 years with Invest Hong Kong. 

She has a 43-year-old son Rodrigo who is also her business partner.

The social media strategist path was a natural extension to develop new and different ways to connect with the changing landscape of the industry.

Inspired by my very special dog Bella, I developed brand awareness for my passion – baking specialty cakes with a unique niche of desserts for dogs.
